You should be glad for all the potential that has been gained... Plus TRD makes a supercharger kit for the Corolla :rolf

What garage? The place we're moving to don't have garages... Yet another reason why I didn't want to keep the '01... I'd of gone insane if it'd of had to sit outside yet another year...

What you needed to do was to have a picture taken of you two in the middle of a jump with your arms up.... that way it'd be like the old Toyota commercials.

"I love what you do for me.... TOYOTA!"

:thumbsup

Nice car. My wife loved hers. The only reason why we got rid of it is because she needed something bigger...so we picked up a new RAV-4. It was a great little car that got rally good gas mileage. They handle pretty good too. It's like a little go-cart!

You know something... I was in the sun for 7 hours that day, way tired and so on... I like the car, and at this time it was the best decision that we could make.

Like I said, I'm going to get another car, it won't be another V6, but it'll be a fun toy. Will I miss the car, yes. It was my first Mustang, and I owned it for 6 years, but some times you have to know when to move on.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. And Dan... You're done. Oh, and stop looking into my eyes, that shit freaks me out.

No offense, but it's time to buy a car with some cojones! The $$ you spend on taxes, licensing etc. when transfering from econocar to econocar every year would be better spent on a true sportscar. Not trying to be a ****, but I just dont get it:confused

^ you dont know the whole situation, joe and kristie's decision is the best fiscally responsible one they can make at this time. financially it will get them alot farther ahead.

When you're putting on 30+k miles/year it's not worth it. No money spent on taxes on this car, since what we traded was worth more than the purchse price of the car.

I have no garage to put a "true sportscar" in so it's not worth the purchase at this point.

The Corolla wasn't meant to be a "sports car". It's a driver, and it's going to be driven. My guess is that in 6 years the car will have well over 180k miles on it, and with gas at $3.30+/gal it's not worth getting anything else.

Edit: Plus what do you mean econobox to econobox every year?? I owned my Mustang for 5 years and 11 months. Yeah, we had just gotten the Fusion, but that's NOT an econobox. The Fusion is a well made American midsize "luxury" car.
