Wait, how much rarer is the car if its a GNX over a Grand National.
Flicktitty

GNX was a very very limited run.
There were only 547 produced, which makes the GNX very rare and very expensive.

Ok, it is an 80's olds cutlass Diesel with a G/N conversion. I found the build thread and another Video. Is Anyone here a registered member of turbobuick.com that might be able to view the attachment photos in the post?

yea PPE built that one.. 800hp on bio diesel. im pretty sure the injectors couldnt handle that much bio and thats why they detuned it.

I wonder what kind of times it runs? What it weighs? Cool idea, but I don't know if I would have used a GN for the platform.

The car is sex. Almost looks like a toy.
It can tow it's own trailer to the track!

Im sure its not cranked up yet... My monte went 8.5 @ 81 and that was 13.1
Should be no problem making that thing hook if they really tried and crank the wick up on it... i bet thats like damn near stock, maybe a 75 hp chip setting or something

So, according to the post on turbobuick.com he started with a 81 Cutlass and made it look like a GN. Its a cool car for sure and I am happy to see he didn't destroy a GN. If I stuck a 6.6 diesel in my Iroc it would fold in half. :headbang

yeah, it looks like diesels are becoming more and more popular, and why not? They are easily modified, get good mileage, and they last forever, sounds like a great base to start a project on. And besides, a diesel with a nice loud exhaust sounds AWESOME!

I hate the sound of a stock diesel, but a loud exhaust really sounds good. :thumbsup
