actualy the 1.8 loves boost.....and you can do some stuff to that engine if you know where to work....problem is finding one with low mileage

yeah they like boost but you need 93 octane why bother with a boosted bp to make the same power a klo3 makes n/a on 87 and dont have to worry about boost and turbo problems.

225 is what a na klo3 makes, and the bp is a little bit lighter, stronger, and best part, is not a interfearance motor

the klde(kl03 is another name, 164 hp @ 6000 and 160 ftlbs @4000) is a non interference motor also. Id argue the v6 is a better option because that particular motor will make around 300 to the wheels with 7psi

stronger how?dont think just cuz its smaller displacement it can handle more boost truth is both motors are good but if you want decent torque from a n/a motor your not gonna get it from a 1.8bp:alcoholic
