Well, I just got back from the midnight showing in West Bend. We didnt plan on going to it until about 11:00 tonight either.
It was OK to say the least. I mean, I didnt walk out of there thinking "Wow! That movie rocked!", but it was decent. It had its gay parts, and cool parts, and Kirsten Dunst along with the other blonde chick looked pretty good. :thumbsup

I know the new Halloween costume this year that every kid is going to want, will be the black spiderman costume. That looked pretty bad ass! :devil

Meh...worst of the three imo. I liked one of the cameo's (for sam rami/army of darkness/bruce cambell fans). But the overall feel of the film was frentic...there was too much going on, and little coherence in the story.

And normally the action scenes are part of what's best in a spidey flick, however, in this one it is too kinetic. It's hard to follow what's going on, and is in too small a scale most of the time, and too dark at others.

Venom is bad-a** though...topher does a good job in that role too. Wish they would have had more venom/spidey duel's in it...

Overall 2 1/2 out of 4 stars.

Took my kids to see it yesterday. I thought it was pretty good, the kids loved it. When Topher became Carnage, that looked pretty tough.

i was at the 9:15 showing last night.. i liked it, i wont go on and spoil it for everyone.it was kind of hard to follow during the fight seens,as they were going to fast...mmm Kirsten:drool: ...she looked good in this one:thumbsup

I bought the DVD here in Thailand yesterday! Got 300 also, havent watched Spiderman 3 yet. $3 each!

Nevermind, Spiderman 3 is a bootleg camera job (and a pretty bad one at that). 300 is the real deal, special features and all. I guess it's kind of hit/miss with the movies over here. I also watched Wild Hogs the other day, that was a real one too.
