I left my windows half open for about 30 minutes while I was getting something from the store. I drive off with the music LOUD and dont pay attention to much of anything until this semi kept blowing his horn at me on the hwy. I wasnt speeding and was in the slow lane so I blew it off until I had to change a disc and heard the wind howling. I grabbed the top just as liftoff was about to occur.
In 8 years of owning my car, I have NEVER not latched my tops but at least I got lucky today.

Wow that would have sucked. I am so paranoid of losing a TTop I never, ever drive without them not only latched but locked as well. TTops cost way to much to replace.

BTW I saw you today at Mayfair mall, car looks and sounds amazing.

I had that sorta thing almost happen... I was trying to figure out where this rumbling noise was coming from till I notice the t-top start bouncing around.

Jacki and I had it happen in the MFBA cruise with about 35 cars behind us at about 65 MPH. My arm was like a kit string. Jacki assisted pulling it in when she was 9 months pregnant.

NOT FUN, but saved it and the cars behind us.

was it improperly latched??? was curious how that situation happens.

on my f-bodies, they were either off, or on and locked.

Seems like locking sounds like a good idea now.
