Glad I read this because I was just about to cancel lame azz HBO too.

i got HBO a few years back just for the boxing (yeah i know, boxing sucks), but I find that I actually watch more of the shows on HBO than any other network. all of their original series are great and the HBO comedy channel usually has something great.

I guess they proved their point. Through the mma word-vine, Zuffa and hbo couldnt come to an agreement on the last ppv so to prove a point and say f*u, the pvv was done on Spike for free.

According to Dana White that event was done free on Spike because they are had UFC 69, 70, and 71 to close together. He wanted to "give something back to the fans".

that also came about immediately AFTER the original hbo deal went sour and they pulled the plug.

I am really not thrilled about hearing someone besides Joe Rogan call the fight too. Bruce Buffer can go but Rogan is funny and actually has a clue about what he is talking about.

Sopranos sucks, they killed Deadwood.

I think they put Gabe on the show knowing full well he would either have a super hard time making weight or not make weight at all. Drama is what everyone wants to see. And that was built in drama. Glad he's gone. Dana did the right thing. 2 fights next week. Can't wait.
