As the title says, I am looking for a RR expert. I am looking to add a new specialty vehicle to our limousine fleet. I have found a 1956 Silver Cloud 1 that is in very nice shape. It does have some issues with the AC and brakes and I know these can get VERY costly to fix. I am willing to pay somebody who does know these vehicles VERY well to come and inspect the car with me.

Im afraid if you find an "expert" around here it would probably come
at a premium. I would be more apt to find an older mechanic who
is familiar with Girling drum brake system and SU carburators. The
bassis of that chassis could be serviced correctly by a savy import
tech who has worked on old British TR and MGs. Back to the expert
part, that qualified person needs to be familiar with liner blocks
much like diesel motors of today with specialty tools.

Harry Kaufmann seems to have a few RR. Give him a call to see if he knows where to get it worked on.
