If I had some spare coin Ron. I'd be all over that idea.....you need BIG cahones also to rip these things down the hill. I found some vids and people get MESSED up when they crash, ha ha ha

heavier = faster in soap box
You don't need to worry about steering input force if you know a thing or two about suspension geometry.
I say we all get together somewhere and build a BCM box.
My concept:
