It was me this time, front tire got squirly in a gravel patch and slid out from under me. As soon as I corrected it, I hit the berm and low sided into the ditch. I don't have my memory card so I can't get photos just yet, I'll try and get some up.

I bumped my knee on something, have a big gash on my riding boots but they were riding boots none the less so my foot is okay. Scarey sliding across the gravel, let me tell yah.

Still not getting bike insurance until my rate goes down, this accident wont cost more then the deductable would have been anyways. My new health insurance starts tomorrow though :thumbsup

Hopefully I have it fixed by then. If not, I'll run it as a street fighter up there. I'm going either way, I never miss Automotion :thumbsup

Thanks guys

No John, I don't need any primer. Its not worth fixing the part I have, brand new from Suzuki the part is less then 450 bucks. After I spend all the time sanding and repainting this one, I'll have the same amount into a new one. I'm gonna look for some used stuff first though, see what I can dig up on ebay and what not.

WOW. Glad your ok Eric, I had an expericance with lose gravel when on a poker run two years ago. I was able to save myself and my bike from going down but that lose gravel is a b*tch a lot of times you cant even see it till its to late. Hopefully your knee will be ok and it wont cause you too much pain.

Well well well, as much as this gives me the opportunity to talk crap based on our recent shananagans, I wont. Im glad you are ok. Ive been down several times, i know how it goes. Still dont agree with your choice not to get insurance but im done arguing about it. If you need parts for the bike, let me know, i have some very good hookups.
