Sad news- One of the Blue Angels went down this afternoon while performing killing its pilot.

Man, that's no good. It went down a half mile from my house! My fiance was at the airshow and went over to my house, where some friends of ours are renting it out. They're fine, but she said the neighborhood looks like a war zone. I had the unfortunate experience of being in a unit when we put a "bird in the dirt", but the circumstances of that were not even close to the same. I hate to think about it, being very active in the Hornet Community for a living. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the aircrew along with the people of my neighborhood.
