Anyone have a good way of getting a lock nut off. I need to get my rims off so that I can clean them up. The problem is I lost the lug remover. I sent in the little card that they send with it incase you lose it and they sent the wrong one. I talked to them and they said they would send out the correct one and when it got to me it was the same one as before. I want to get them off before this weekend. I don't care if a wreck the one that is on there now. I will just get a different one. Any suggestions?

get a slightly smaller deep well socket and pound it on then take the lug off.

If the nut isn't hollow, there is a socket designed to dig into the nut. A firestone repair shop had one.

If the hammered on socket slips or for added security, glop some JB Weld inside the socket before hammering it on, let it sit at least 12hrs.

Guarantee it will work. Ask me how I know =P

Sears Gator Grip? It would depend on what kind of lock it is.

They are from amcor wheel locks. Not factory. I can't take a pic tonight, I am at work.

Here is a link to them. Mine are the ones that are the second pic down. It isn't a very good picture of them, but give you an idea.
