Camera Upgrade

I want to upgrade from my 3 year old Olympus D-550 3mp 3x optical zoom.
If money were no object i would go out and get the best dslr i could but working with a limited budget I've been shopping around.

Has anyone had any experience with Fuji camera's? Found one just released in February.
Fujifilm s700 7mp 10x optic zoom $209 at Newegg with a 2gb memory card.

If it were me:

1. Canon S3IS - Image Stabilization, Digic II, 12x optical, pan/tilt/twist LCD.
I was sitting in the beer pen (right-field bleachers) last year at Miller Park, and was able to take closeups of the batters at home plate.
This was with the s2is yet (5mp)

2. Fuji S700 - Not too distant 2nd, less zoom.

3. Fuji S6000 - No Image Stabilization, bleh.

Nice pic's from Miller. Good point about the image stabilization on the S6000.

I was amazed at the amount of camera for the price on the Fuji S700. I must be missing something here.

I was able to use dpreview.com to check out the Canon S3 and the Fujis6000fd but the Fuji S700 is so new that there aren't any review on it yet. Found some info on the dpreview forums for it.
