Any suggestions on what I should do to make sure this thing is healthy for the long haul? I dont believe it has a timing belt.....chain possibly? Seems that it rides a bit rough, may need new suspension. NOt really sure. Any insight on work that should be done let me know.

Tires are f'ed, putting on a set of new bridgestone potenza's next week probably..... I plan on putting about 30K a year on this thing for the next 3 years. THink I should probably have the tranny flushed for sure.

well that could be your shitty ride problem. Couldnt hurt to drop the pan and change the trans filter, then fill it back up and add some Lucas Trans additive. Thats what I would do.

Dont think having it power flushed is worth it? Ive never worked on a saturn before, new thing for me.......

no turbo! I would like to use this to rack up miles on! Not blow it up! It has 80k on it. It doesnt have a timing belt right? If it does im gonna change it.

it probably has a timing belt setup. and 80k miles I guess you could do a flush on it and be ok, but id still add the lucas trans additive.

I say trans flush, lucas trans additive, some new tires, replace the timing belt if it has one, get some NOS stickers for the front fenders, and you are ready to cruise the strip doin 10k miles a year on highway 100 alone :D
