When will Nismodave's car be done??? Contest!!

Every time I bump into a BCM member or fellow car enthusiast friend I get the same question..."When is the car going to be done???" :mad:

I broke a valve spring last year, and due to the slow year I had with the electrical contractor I was employed too, I did not have the cash to fix it.:crying

So to get me motivated to spend the $$$ I need to, get things rolling, and to have some fun, Ive decided to have a contest.

When will Nismodave get his car done?

Make your guess, and the person who is closest to the day I finnally pull into everyones favorite burger stand (Hwy 100 Culvers) on the cars own power,:rolf ........Will recieve a Burger of their choice at said burger stand.:thumbsup

I will close the guessing in 2 weeks, as to keep it fair.......One guess per person please. Please post a time and day.

I have a # of parts to buy, headgasket, oil pump, timing chain...plus a few new goodies.......Near 1000 bucks worth of stuff.........The head is at the shop with the new springs and guides being worked on now, And Im going to FINNALLY get the motor on the stand tommorow. Its been a wait because the shop I do the work at has been very busy and jam packed with cars.

Things are looking real bad.........My guides are shot.....One guide was so big that you could almost fit 2 valves in it.........Im going to look at it tommorow.........The person doing it gave me a quote........400-500 bucks, not including me still having to buy new guides......And not including the Springs and Retainers, and seal I have already bought.

This is turning into a nightmare.
