Have a family member willing to sell me a 95' SL2 for under a grand with 150K on it. What kind of issues do these things have?

Sorry to garbage up the forums with these threads but I really need a DD.

I used to own one it was a 2001 but it was great i also used to work at the saturn on hwy 100 and see lots of them with over 200,000 miles on them seen 2 that had over 300,000 and one with 500,000 on it !!!!! a couple of them were stick one has the original clutch. so yea i'de say they are reliable and also they are very easy to work on.

My friend had a M5 '95 SC2, nothing but transmission problems... Then again he wasn't nice to it.

238K on my 93 SC2 and I beat the living hell out of it.

500 bucks worth of maintenance for over 100k of hard mileage.

Keep an eye on the oil and it'll never die.

Under a thousand like 100 bucks or 900...In the end you get what you pay for

hey 300pny, nice signature there with my quote.... however I don't find that insulting one bit. Its actually borderline amusing, but you are still an douche.

I find it funny. Yes, you get what you pay for, no doubt. That is why I didnt end up buying it, car itself was pristine and ran great but im to lazy to replace the tranny.
