Was thinking of bidding on 94 Turbo AWD DSM on ebay, has around 160K. Whats the life of these engines? What issues do these cars have? Looking for a good DD.

I think you are better off with a non-DSM. Just speaking from experience. That is, unless you like to be broke/broken (you and the car) for the rest of your life.

If you are looking for a DD, I would look for a Toyota or a Honda first.
