Well my friend is working on getting a team for us to play. For those that had to leave early or did not show, the scrimmage is going to be on Sunday @ 11 am. My friend didint think he could get a team together to play us on Saturday. Also because of the football players practicing we are going to move our game to McCarty Park Located on 78th and Beloit Road in West Allis.

Also Please Pay your dues for your jersey by sunday or no later. You will not get your jersey unless you pay!

Also if any subs would like to stop out feel free to. I will try getting you in to play also.

I will be there this weekend for practice if not are we going to meet at the batting cages? I thought it helps out for us players that have not played in years.

I may put something together for the people that did not make it last week. I am only inviting the people that didnt meet up because I dont have all day on Saturday seeing I am going to the brewers game. I will PM those people on Thursday night on what is going on.

Scott I will be there although I might be a little late I have to bowl 6 games for the state tournment at 9am so I hope to be there around noon.

Yeah that is fine you could probably fill in for Rick untill he gets there.

Hopefully everyone will be there if not and we cant play I wont be happy to make this other team travel for nothing

Was an enjoyable time aside from me still trying to get back into the swing of things. Picked up cleats about an hour ago, should get my throws to first better on track. Thanks Jeff for the advice on my hitting.. I'll have to be more particular about where exactly I'm standing.

and yes, i look like a toasted lobster... tomorrow is gonna be painful.

oddly enough my lips are fine. just my forehead, cheeks/nose, back of my neck and arms from the farmer tan region down are pink. tried to roll my sleeves up but it was too late lol.

idk what everyones work schedules are, but anyone interested in going to the batting cages some night this week? i know i could use some more practice...

Where at? Time? Went and looked at the field that the game is at today, there's some batting cages right next to it? Dunno where there are any batting cages in centralized locations though. Just let me know where to go and when to be there.

I completely forgot about the ones next to Konkel! I guess my mind was still on winter mode and thinking of indoor cages only, if it's nice enough to be outside I'll be going there.....

I was thinking more in the evening, maybe about 7-ish.....

Went to the cages next to konkel today for about an hour. I wasnt standing anywhere where I needed to be for the way I swing.. Got the kinks worked out, quit rippin em all to one side. Definetly want to go back Thursday though.

pulling i believe is what that would be.. swinging too early, right handed batter hitting it to what would be my left..

i opened up my stance a bit actually, that helped a lot. I was swinging early because I wasn't extending my arms enough. Wasn't getting a full swing in. Didn't miss a single ball, popped a few up though. Overall I was pleased with myself. I'll prolly end up going everyday this week after work. Just to keep practicing and whatnot.

I have to admit i had some sun burn -- it was good to get out and play -- Scott i will be there this friday at 7:15 - I will probly pick up Rick and meet up at the park.
