I have a set of 02 Camaro SS wheels i plan on powder coating and putting on my 88 but discovered they won't fit in the front. So I'm looking for a 4th gen Camaro or TA k-member with suspension so I can make those babies fit up front. My other option is a Corvette k-member but I doubt i would find one of those quite as easily. So lemme know what you got or what friends have.

Oh I also need a set of stock 80's-93 S-10 Tail lights cause some one broke one of mine when we repainted my beater with a paintball gun.

Why wont they fit? Do you have the wheel spacers?

2 inch adapters are what people normally do to use 4th gen wheels. There is a thirdgen with a 4th gen chassis on thirdgen.org, it's a flammed iroc with an LS1. I'll see if I can find it later.

Awesome thanks for the info. With those two inch adapters does it stick the tire out a good ways from the fender? I'm trying to avoid that look but I dunno I'll look into it.

To your question Knyghtmare the rim ends up hitting the strut i believe, i wasnt there when my friends were test fitting so I dunno, but it hits either the strut or the tie rod end I've heard from another friend.

Nope, they are designed to fit as the factory wheel; there's just a large space from the rotor to the wheel face. You'll also need a spacer for the rear; I think 1.5 inches. Or you could purchase a 4th gen rear. Sounds like you'll need a new rear end anyway with your mods. How far are you with the car?

You can order them from here.

Or check around ls1tech.com for guys who have upgraded to tubular kmembers.

Well we're still in the planning stages, right now it's just a roller but I have a 350 4-bolt in my basment that's going to become a 327 4-bolt built for a twin turbo system. The plan as far as I'm concerned is to get all suspension and body work done before I drop in the motor and trans.

Heh I was lookin at ZR1 wheels a few years ago but can't afford to buy rims, my saab needs a clutch and trans so i can stop driving my POS blazer. I've also considered a tubular k-member and tubular control arms for it and also planning on doing a coil over conversion front and rear. I'll hop on over to ls1tech and ask a few questions. Thanks for all the input.
