DAMN DAMN DAMN and DAMN!!!

This was the worst drag night ever for me. well minus 2 years ago broken axle. but i could not even beat my N/A times. I spun through 1st 2nd and 3rd.
the only thing i beat was my trap speed which im sure i can get higher if i was not spinning so damn much. every fool ass was going throught the water.

my best was a 14.4 or somthing @ 106.45

i also blew an injector O-Ring. lucky the only tools i had were 1/4in drive socket set. I quick pulled my manifold poped the injector rail off. and luckely i didn't clean out my car and i had my old injectors in the back seat. so i stole an O-ring from the old injectors.. haha.. it started right up, but i have a vaccum leak.. well i had to get home so i drive home around 3000 rpm. not that bad really. i lucked out from a 200$ or more tow.. no trailer queen for me.. but i think i do need some kind of trailer.

Lilevo and I saw you on your way home last night. You looked like you were salty about something. My suggestion to you would be to find some cheap if not used slicks. I would go with the 14" if you can find them. That way you could get more gear out of it. Just a thought.
BTW when I get my truck done we'll have to get a lane next to each other. Something tells me that I am going to have traction issues myself.

i think im going to get BFG drag radials 215/60r14. 113$ each. i toped out my 4th gear so i would want somthing alittle taller.right?? taller = more ground covered per revolution.

hey judge. ill have to go when the strip is not sweating. damn thing was wet. i know i can get more MPH!!! ill still race ya. im not like that.:D

ok here are the times. i went on the 20th hoping the warm weather would help.. and yes it did........................ just not as much as i thought.....my clutch is slipping i noticed on the way home.grrrrrr



on this run i reset my computer and it ran great.too bad i didn't do this earlier. it was trying to lean out for some reason and it was causing me to pop and lose alot of power. i was hitting 13.6 A/F at times. here i was well in the 11sA/F again

Looks like GLD's timers messed up again with that 12.5 run. You have to be moving pretty fvking good to turn a 9.9 1/8th into a 12.5 1/4 e.t.

i have to agree with you. 14's n/a isnt bad but 14's boosted would piss me off too. dont worry about it get some sticky tires and call it a day. what was your 60ft?

the 60ft is not the biggest problem i can control that easier than the wheel spin while in 2nd or 3rd.
