Had Tom do an HPTuners tune on the silverado. man what a difference. its so much more responsive now, revs quicker, shifts are more positive, and if the pavement is anything but dry, it lights em up nicely. Downshifts are on demand, and first gear shift at WOT is now 5,800rpms, rev limiter at 6,300 I believe. Timing is 26º at WOT. On top of all this, I already noticed an increase in fuel mileage :headbang Just in time for the price hike :rolf

Anyway, after tuning, we were test driving it and seeing how it ran, and I had the opportunity for my first race. Newer Ram with the hemi wanted a piece. Plus I kinda encouraged it. I was doin a lil brakestand action at him on the freeway offramp, and as soon as we got onto the road I jumped on it. Tom turned around and saw that the Ram also dropped the hammer, so it was on. We were about even till I reved higher then 3,000 and I was pullin away. Hard to gauge how much I was pulling because we were in traffic, but needless to say after that, he wouldn't race again :thumbsup

Long story short: Anyone thinking about a Tom tune, go for it :headbang
