Congrads to Boweryboy and Vette Doctors in getting a new best and another record.
Going this fast on IRS is just sick!

"Despite not being in the car since November and still not having my brake issue resolved, I was able to peel off a 8.54 @ 164 with a 1.36 60 foot.
As most of you know I was not able to run / tune the car on Tuesday due to a bad ignition module so we had to leave the very conservative tune in the car (fat as hell, only 10 degrees of timing and 20psi). I was truley shocked that the car ran so well on the first pass. Carmen and Dennis said to take it easy on the first run (1st pass on the new brake setup which did not work as well as we wanted). I thought I did by short shifting the car but the beast really screamed all the way down. Here is the video:
