I know some people were asking for info on this car, so here it is. This car is for sale at a car lot about 4 blocks from my house.
I dont have any more information than what you see in the pictures. It's super clean and apparently only has 50-some thousand on it. It's a beautiful car.
Looks like the sticker says something about a salvage title, but I dont see any evidence of any sort of major damage, even looking underneath. It's a previous CA car, so it very well could have been a theft recovery or something. IIRC, CA is extremely quick to pull the trigger on the title branding. If it was my money, I'd have no qualms about buying it.

well if the car has had a Crash or something to make it a salvage title then it might be a pile of shit. paint and powercoating can hide alot.

well lets see, it is a fox stang, and values on them are going up, in some cases almost to the point that they were when new. Plus it is a rare color, rarer than mine, as I have personally only seen 3 in person in that green (I have the production numbers but I am lazy).. Honestly, the fox platform isnt as bad as people say, they are easy to mod and are fun to drive, two reasons why I bought mine. As far as the rebuilt salvage brand, I have seen some real stupid assed reasons why in some states why they get that brand, and in california, they are some of the stupidest

I am willing to guess it is nothing. Even if it was a front end hit, it dosnt effect the way the car drives because there is nothing suspension wise forward of the strut towers to cause any kind of a pull.

Dr. Doom and I were out hunting some mustangs down over the last couple of weeks, and I am disgusted in what some people are considering "good/great" shape.
I sold mine last year in pretty nice shape with practically everything replaced on the car "with a s/c and loads of other mod's" and sold it for $4,500 cuz it's a mustang, not a 70' Chevelle LS6. I guess I should've sold mine for $9K then:rolleyes:
No one knows the history of that car unless someone wants to waste a carfax on it, or get under it and look....
So what if it's an auto, 5spd swaps are pretty popular. If the car is in solid shape even after a hit, who cares, after what I've seen lately, that car is much more clean than some of the garbage we checked out with price tags going over $3,500!
My 2cents.

Notice that the interior is mismatched. It has black seats and a black center console, but grey carpet, rear interior panels, and half of the dash is grey. Another indication it may have been a theft recovery. Black interior cars are all black, no grey. Grey interior cars only have black on the steering column, steering wheel, and the top of the dash.

Right, but if it was a theft recovery it may of been given a salvage title. Then taken after it was purchased from the salvage auction to the local Authorities to get checked out and then given a "Rebuilt Salvage Title"... Some states are quicker to brand than others... It would throw red flags for me though. Plus I wouldn't pay a premium for one with a rebuilt salvage title... Just my opinion.

That thing has some major seat lean for such claimed mileage. 54K is only a dash swap away... that or it's flipped.
Someone has to have a carfax account....

Well, to be fair, I know for a fact that CA will brand damn near anything for almost nothing.
This thing could have had nothing more happen to it than stealing the ponies and cement-blocking it, or it couldve been man-handled.
Looking at it up close, I dont see any evidence of major damage.
As far as the price, well, its clean, and super low miles (if accurate), I dont see 6K as a stretch for it. Thousands of worse cars have gone for equal or greater money.
