The reason behind the TTA's being produced is becuse when the TA was the pacecar for the indy 500 they didnt believe that the 350 had enough power to get up and get outta the way. then GM remembered the load of GN blocks that they had sitting around and collecting dust so they decided to change a few things and slap 1,500 of them and make the TTA otherwise it would have never existed.

None the less I love the 3rd gens but the thing that sucks ass is that in the IROC you couldn't get a 350 matched with a 5 speed unless if you ordered it that way and to be honest Im not sure if you could order one that way?
