This will be appriciated on here more than on my Ford Probe forum. A friend of my dad's suggested me to one of his old school hot rod buddies who was looking for a flame job and yesterday I got put to work on his 1937 Chevy Sleeper-Semi. The thing is kinda a f-ugly but cool in its own way. Anywho I got a chance to do a bigger flame job on something that is not mine and I'm really happy with the results. It took about 12 hours total and $1500 in materials.

Better then I could do. Whats that funky cab on the back of the truck, is that like a sleeper cab or what?

It is a sleeper... the truck is a copy of the Cruiz'n with Wings truck that is at the NSRA shows.

Did you paint the probe in your signature, and if so any more photos? I really like that orange color you used :thumbsup

Interested in doing some flames on a tank and fenders for my bike? They are clean, new pieces already off the bike...

As for doing some bike tins, sure, I will gladly lay them out, prep, and paint them if you provide the materials. I have not yet mastered the art of pinstriping so that would have to be done by someone else at additional cost. This guy thought I was going to pay the pinstriper which was a joke, I just told him I could get a guy to do it for him.

nice work, but doesnt seem like the ideal place to do paint work, in the middle of a garage. Do you have a purple probe also?

Very nice work!! How hard is it to do that? I always wanted to learn how to to do that. I was going to college to be a art major and I have done paintings and drawings for other but I always wanted to get into air brushing. It would be cool if you could show me sometime!!;) :D

It isn't really that difficult. The most challenging part is knowing what the flames will look like once they are unmasked. Looking at the masked up pictures these looked terrible but I've drawn/seen a lot of flames so I have a really good idea what will look like what.
