Looking to buy a new large riding lawnmower, something with a 48"+ cut, does anyone have contacts or hookups here?
Thanks! Sam

I'd like a rider. That way I could go out the garage, go 10 ft, turn around, go back in, and I'd be done cutting lawn.

Esch Power Equipment in Oak Creek. They carry John Deere, Simplicity, Gravely, Honda, Toro, and a few other makes. If you go there, ask for Phil and tell him Andy sent you. He'll give you the best deal they can do.

Call Franklin True Value (414-761-0800) and ask to talk to Paul Martens. He's a good friend of Dr. Jack's and myself and I know he's worked some deals for people in the past. Hell, he might even need some plumbing work done. Lots of tax money to be saved when there is barter involved...;)

I work at Briggs, which owns Simplicity, i can see what i can do as we own Simplicty.

But id reccomend a Prestige with the 50" and a 25Hp Kohler.

This is a decent tractor, i used to work on them, the 54" deck HAD some issue with leaving un cut strips, not sure if that had been resolved since...

Windrows FTL!

heh, 90% of the time that's caused by dull blades, usually the tip that will dull faster than the rest of the blade, so the rest cuts fine, while the middle will be left a little long.
Or it's a slightly bent spindle if you're really unlucky.

Yeah been down that road on older units. Usually the spindle wouldnt bend, the housing would and leaves the whole arbor on an angle lol, now those leave a funny cut!

This was anti blow-out baffle placement issues if i remember correctly, its been a year since i worked on one. But they have these baffles to keep clippings from coming out anywhere but the discharge, but the clipings wouldnt get out fast enough and would and would shield the grass blades from being cut in a certain spot.
