jbiscuit
03-27-2007, 10:32 AM
30 over 327, balanced bottom end, ported fuelie heads, crane rockers and springs, pretty big hydraulic cam (I don't know the specs), Performer RPM mani, Holley 750, Heddmans, Flowmasters etc etc....

Nioce, If you ever get ambitious some day with it, an era correct 409/409 would be the awesome in that! Bisquick! lol

I'd LOVE to do that...the motor would cost more than the car however, ha ha ha....for now the small block makes the car scoot OK. It held its own the other night against a girl in a stock new GTO :thumbsup

It's too damn straight! JK! Nice find! :headbang

Any plans for it this year? Or just drive it for now?

jbiscuit

no real plans for it honestly...just drive it mostly. It needs a tune (has a little off idle stumble) and some other odds and ends (fuel sending unit etc) so I'll work on that stuff.

Crawlin

pro stars on there now..

i'm with Ron, get the steelies *****!!! that's the only way to fly, with some MT drag radials on them. 15x10 in back and 15x5's up front :)

I'm DIGGING that Nickey sticker on the back ;)

I've always wanted an older full body car like that, but I'd want a Skylark or Tempest/Catalina to turn into a Nostalgia Super Stock car !!!!

We need more pics!!

jbiscuit
03-27-2007, 11:13 AM
yea the car has 15" Pro Stars on it right now with 285 70's on the rear and 215's up front. I'd like to do the color matched steels with poverty caps like this car:

jbiscuit

I bought it from a guy up near Ripon. Up until like 3 years ago, the car spent its entire life in Mississippi. Its a pretty clean car.

SWEET RIDE. I love the old school muscle! Not many of those around anymore and in that shape even less. Hope to see ya around with it.

And you got my vote for the 409 when ever you can. That would top off that car. :thumbsup

Thanks everyone for the comments. The car will be out quite a bit this summer. It drives great so no need keeping it at home when the weather is nice.

I too love the steelies and dog dishes. I will probably work on getting a set on the car at some point later this summer.

^^ I'd love the look of that but I don't think it'd be all that practical considering the car won't see the track

Pics don't do it any justice. It looks awesome in person and sounds nice too. I was shocked on how good the interior was. It was clear the previous owner babied the hell out of it when he drove it and J definitely will too. :thumbsup
