Either way you look at it. it is a 1000WHP Car. How many people can say that? Then how many people can say it's coming out of a 6cyl? Then how many can say they have one of the Nastiest setups people do on Supra's Only setup bigger that people do is a 3.4L Stroker kit to his 3.25 Stroker and the turbo GT47-88 to his GT47-80. This car is an ICON to most every car out there. some would argue that it could be one of the better cars ever made (me being one of them) I have been in and around the Supra communitiy for the last 6 years or so. And i know my fair share about them and who does what with them.

As for the shop that built his car they are a stand up shop that has been numerous 8,9,10,11,12,13 second cars. they are even doing a TT C6 Z06 as well as getting into other Mustangs and Corvettes as well now.

Like stated before Tri is a good guy it's alot of the followers that make him to where people don't "like" him. He even has told me a few times that it's getting annoying having flocks of people come up to him when he stops anywhere, sure it is an "amazing" car but every time i seen him pull in a wave of people rush his car. But they seem to do that with any and every Supra that is in this area. I remember a few years ago being on 100 with a friend in his 97 Single turbo Supra and it being the same effect. It does get old after awhile.

As for those who say it doesn't "stand out" uhm? i don't know about that one. and last i heard he is still waiting on his Widebody to show up to get installed then you can tell me about "not standing out"

There is nothing wrong with being creative or differant or unique anyway you want to put it, but if something is Tried tested and proven to do something unless your, good with cars/fabrication/wiring/etc. then why not go with a kit? if there was a Kit to do what was done to your car would you do it? or would you say you did your own custom kit/conversion just to be unique? Even if you parked your escort against most other escorts 1. no offense not many people are gonna give 2 shits, 2. most people won't know what there looking at 3. some people might think a few select ones came like that besides people who are into those particular cars. If I was spending that kind of money on parts I would want to make sure everything was right too. I can only think of several high hp Supras in WI. How many f-bodies and Mustangs are there? A lot more than Supras.

Oh and about the riding the clutch comment from Judge, you basically have to on that car to get a smooth start. The clutch is like an on/off switch and if you let it out any quicker the car will lurch forward. It's probably hard to understand when you don't need that much of a clutch.

Holy hell, it's like 1st grade all over again. I don't see what the big deal is. The guy always wanted a Supra, he spent his own money on building it and people talk shit about it? It's not your car so don't worry about it. I don't see why you get called a nutswinger because you really like a car and have an positive opinion about a car. Different strokes for different folks. I hear people talk shit in public about the car but they don't even have a nice car themselves, but it's ok though, since they are still known for what they used to have and plan on building something for their kid that is years away from driving. A guy he delivered papers to all his life left him a Bugatti Veyron with instructions to only mod the stereo.
It will still be fast, once the Phaethon wheels get back from the powdercoaters.

I dont care if a person pays a $1,000,000 for a car, fast is fast and cool is cool. It is a car that is very much loved by Import car fans, and it will get alot of attention. But with attention and speed comes hate.

I was way off, my bad! And that isn't me on the bike, that is a buddy that is a lot faster at the light with the hydraulic clutch. I am considering switching from hydraulic to cable clutch for this spring, cable drops in the same spot every time where hydraulic is a bit fishy on my bike.
