I for one will miss him. He was a great guy, I loved his interviews. Rest in Peace.

i didn't really know of him until the last few days. all the support i have seen for him over the web and on tv he must have been a hell of a guy. it always sucks to see someone like that die doing something that they love to do. people always say "at least they died doing something they loved to do", i don't buy that, it really sucks!

RIP, he was a very talented driver who was a great one for the sport. Very friendly and would always be very polite to his fans. What a shocker.. I guess its true what they say only the good die young.

I dont know if this is apropriate but, when I go I want it to
be doing something I enjoy (I know the risks I take when I
jump out of a plane or racing). Guy was young and obviously
well liked from what I have read, at least some drunk didnt
cross a median while he was on his way home from the track.

I feel terrible about this, my heart is heavy for the Medlen family.
Even though I didn't know him personally I still feel like I just lost a friend.

just plan sucks. His dad must be beside himself. Force has got to be doing alot of soul searching also. How would you like to be the guy that bought the car that someone got killed in? Man!!! I can't imagine how everyone in that organization must feel. I know they realize their are risks involved but it still doesn't make it any easier. My heart goes out to the Medlen family and to JFR. No matter how well they do this year it will always be the year eric died.
