radiator in the audi has a leak in it, radiators for this car are uuber expensive, wondering if someone does it at a reasonable rate. i'm gonna get the car home tonight and pull the unit and see the damage, get a pic up maybe.

You have an Audi?? What year??

Otherwise have you tried calling Million Mile Radiator or whatever it is in Menomonee Falls on Fond Du Lac Ave... They look like a place that might do something like that...

yes, i've got a 1990 80 series. its a small radiator, only about 2 x 2, the car uses 2 of them. the main one, (i'm assuming its aluminum) the hole is in the bottom. it dripped slightly before, i loosened the brackets to look where it was coming from, where the radiator rests on the mount underneath, i lift the radiator, coolant comes gushing out. it looks ALMOST like a drain plug, but i'm pretty sure its not. car is in the shop right now getting something else done, so i can't look at it right now.

Per a recommendation on this site, I went to a place off Sunset in Waukesha, it was I think $45-50 for a repair on an aluminum unit I had that the electric fans rubbed a few holes :(. Repair has lasted a few years now...

mmkay, the radiator, where the part is broken, is copper or brass, here are pics.... its what i thought it was, the rubber mount is attached to the radiator, and the "leg" of the bracket busted a hole. looks like someone was yankin on it or something, or rested weight.

Either that or they'll braze the crack shut. Either way, thats totally fixable.
