I've just started looking for a bike now, but it will be my first so I'm sure A) Non of you will feel safe riding with me and or B) I wont be buying anything that will be fast enough to keep up with you guys.
I'd go if I could! I've got spring fever for sure.
I'll ride with you. Have you ever ridden a bike before? If not, I have a bike you can learn on in for an hour or so if you want. Give me a ring cracker

I did but it was a long time ago, I'm familiar with the process and all but I'd love to take you up on that offer.
I don't know what to buy for my first bike either. I'm not naive to the fact that I shouldn't buy anything more than a 600, but I don't know a whole lot more than that.
Sorry for the thread jack

Little on the chilly side right now. I like it in the 60's at least.
The cold doesnt bother me. So far is me, Chris on his 02 gsxr 600, Greg on his 04 r6, flanders on his 05 r6, and ryan on his tlr.

Dont worry about your experiance as a rider. You will come to find out it doesn't matter what your experiance is some riders dont care on the experiance as long as they have someone riding with them it makes things a little more fun. I am one of those guys and sounds like Eric is as well.

Don't worry most people usually have a 600 that I'm aware of. As far as the experience, don't sweat it. Usually you'd rather be safe than sorry from doing stupid shit in attempts to show off. Remember we all we're in your shoes at some point in our riding experiences.:thumbsup
I'll ride with who ever whenever, just don't ride into me and we're good.
