It was feeling a bit rough yesterday and after seafoaming it last weekend so figued Id pull a plug after work & look at it, and yep..time to chuck them!

Last time I did it, it took me at least 2 hours and I had turtle's small girl-like hands getting the hard to get ones! 45 mins is an awesome time!

No problem John ;)

Yeah it was pretty quick, John did the brunt of the work, I just basically fed the plugs to him and he would wrench them in.

Sounds and feels alot better now, I won't use seafoam again though, but thats just me.

Yeah to many gaps in the engine bay increases the chance of you getting hit by your own tools though LOL!

You never changed the plugs after seafoaming it?! Carbon builds up and heat coats itself to the electrodes and can make the car run like ass. We had to replace the plugs at Ford after using their version of what you know as Seafoam, and of course changing the oil, unless customers wanted to have wiped bearings too:banana1:

Those plugs on LT1's suck! I got six of them and my younger brother got the other 2 that my gorrila palms couldn't get to when I had my 97' T.A....good job...

I took the car out for a 100 mile drive after the seafoam and then changed the oil & filter- pitch black. The car sat all week & then did the plugs after the drive to/from Stockys on Sunday so that was another 70 miles approx on the car since seafoam. But it was definately running rougher & rougher. Those plugs were FUBAR.

Yes the Seafoam destroys the plugs, thats why we told customers to expect a tune-up with the Ford service.

Where did you get your Seafoam by chance? I actually have trouble finding it...?
