Anyone here sell ever sell a car and thought it was a good idea at the time. I borrowed my dads srt for the weekend and made me realize how much fun it was to drive the thing. Plus it was only 25 dollars to fill the tank.

I had to sell my mint condition 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL 5-spd with 62K original miles, to pay off my 2nd broken transmission in my eclipse. (Now on tranny #10)

Bought it for $1500 in 2000 w/ 36K miles from a guy who was too tall to fit in it (it was his mothers car), drove it for two years, and sold it for $6750 to a mazda die hard. I still to this day, wish I didn't put the tranny on my AMEX card...causing me to pay off a $4600 bill in 28 days from purchase, when I had the money capable of paying it off only 2 weeks later.... :(

Oh well, the car was slow anyways...:thumbsup

I miss my... '95 Grand Cherokee Laredo V8, '98 Wrangler I4 M5, and '81 Mustang LX 5.0 (swapped)

The first and last on that list were the dumbest ones to sell! The one in the middle was just a ton of fun and I miss it...

I miss my 97 Mustang GT, black on black 5 speed, and my 95 Silverado 2500LD diesel. It was a "light duty" diesel pickup. extended cab short box, 3/4 ton springs with 1/2 ton axels. It was rare, and badass!

^^^ now there's one to miss.

i miss the hell out of my GTP, it had plenty of power to have fun, drove awesome, and really didn't get too bad of mileage. Dan will attest to this about these cars. mine was pretty clean too.

My 86 Grand prix. It was in awesome shape and had no rust. It was very fast but it looked great and was the most comfortable car to ride in. The interior was like new. I got it from a distant cousin who had it about a year. He got it from his Uncle that lived in Louisiana. He put some nice AR rims on it. I had a lot of people wanting to buy it from me. I sold it and the guy I sold it to, couldn't handle a rear wheel drive in the winter and he sold it to some sh-t brain that trashed it. :alcoholic

thats the worst part man, there were comprimises, but overall a good package. easy to obtain 300hp and 13 sec or better timeslips, while still knocking off 28mpg and being a total sleeper.

The only reason I miss my '86 442 was because I never took out the posi to put in the Hurst. Other that that it was a rust bucket. And I couldn't floor it because the gas pedal would stick and scare the shit outta me! But I did run into the guy I sold it too back in 2002 and he might be selling it soon, so maybe I'll get it back. But I always hear stories about how people wished they would never have sold certain cars and I'm gonna try and make sure that doesn't happen to me...
