is this the new cannonball run show? i had heard something about this. they are trying to cross the country with keeping an average speed of 60 mph without going over the speedlimit, yeah right, you telling me that the people driving THOSE cars are not going to exceed the posted speed limits, LOL. looks pretty neat!

I had it on for maybe 5 mins last nihgt and had to turn it off becasue I just couldn't take it any more. The cars were cool, but the people in it were so freak'n stupid I wanted to shoot every one of them. :chair:

The stupid girls in the scion got booted. It should be better now.

Im not sure about the speed limit of 60. The Lambo and the Nissan were playing with eachother for a little bit.

Agreed!

I thought it was a good show, especially at the starting line when that car kicked up that mat the flag girl was standing on and she ended up on her ass! And the fact that the moron owner of the lambo already smoked his clutch!

This particular show is just that...a show. The real "Bullrun" consists of exotics north of $120K. Last year they had a stop in Chicago and they partied much of the night and had to leave in the AM. There were Enzos, Gallardos , Murcielagos, Saleen S7s, Hennesey Vipers, Lingenfelter Vettes, you name it. The real Bullrun is just like the old school Cannonball Run with the same drama. There was one kid who was caught doing over 180mph on an interstate and went to jail. He called his uncle who was a US Senator who made another call and his ass got out of jail.
The entry fee for the Bullrun is $17 grand. Prerequisites are a wingman, a K40 jammer, and ballz of steel. Any takers?

I say we go for it again Rob. We came pretty close to winning last time. I think with a little better car we could have placed better. Oh well, maybe we will get some bigger sponsers next year.

Yeah, you guys were pretty darn close to winning it last year too. I found this paparazzi pic of you 2 from one of your gas stops.

I just posted an new thread on this one... I wanted to share some of Mike's comments. He's driving the '68 Charger. So... not a re-post. just sharing from one of the teams in the run.

The kid (20 years old) that had the senator for a uncle was actually clocked doing 237 in the emergency lane in his TT Saleen S7. He was thrown in jail on a Saturday night and was out on Sunday morning hmm.... We partied with them down in Chicago. The guys were pretty crazy. The CL55 that was in first place at the time blew a red light and did 3 or 4 donuts in the street in front of House of Blues with a cop sitting across the street. Crazy night!

well watched last night and i must say i was pretty happy to see that nissan go home. i don't see how they could let them make the whole run on a flatbed! pretty cool to see that F150 staying in the front, not sure how he is doing it. i like when the honda guys get pulled over they claim it is racial profiling. they are driving a car spray painted with graffiti, loud exhaust, and a big number on the side, not to mention i am sure that the windows were tinted AND it was dark out:rolleyes:

Mike & Jim did awesome with the bus challenge. ('68 Charger) Great driving and the car handled excellent considering the size of it. I got a kick out of the doughnuts afterward. The thing that really cracked me up was watching the other teams working on their cars, pulling engines and etc.

And then there was Mike... Typical NY Italian... Polishing his car...LOL! He is losing lots of time because of his fuel capacity. He's averaging 9 to 11 MPG and is in 6th place. I have a feeling team Charger will take home the big $$$ in the end.

He can't disclose anything until the episode airs but he did mention that he is scheduled to race against Goldberg at two events this summer... Hummmm could that be a hint? I kept giving him a hard time by asking when "HIM" was going to take over...LOL

(If you don't know who "HIM" is watch cannonball run again)

I saying it now... Team Charger FTW!!!

Bump

Anyone gonna catch this one tonight?

I'm really curious because the preview shows Mike throwing his helmet down pretty hard (probably no longer DOT Certified) He's not saying why but did say that he did throw it. (because he can't) My guess is that he might have lost a couple positions waiting on the 57 Chevy guys. He was in 6th place at the end of the second show but was in 4th following the challenge. He an Jim teamed up with the Chevy guys because of insturment problems each of them had but I wonder how long the cooperation will last????
