A member mentioned this truck, I decided to check to see if it was real. Don't know if anyone else has seen one, I sure the hell didn't.

Cost's too much. I guess Saleen didn't pay attention to the high cost dodge pickup that flopped cuz of it's high price. It just looks overkill, but seems like an asskicker!

i think it would be nice to see a 4x4 version that is a little more "off road" ready

Agreed, in the late 90's, Saleen made a Saleen Explorer (302, S.C, AWD) but personally I never saw one on the road.

Then they were kickin' the idea around of making a Saleen Ranger with an S.C'd 4.6 but never did. They may as well make these type of vehicles, it's not like Saleen is going to have to make many of them. Would be nice to see vehicles like that on the road......just my opinion.

Yeah they were tight, but I didn't like how they used the AWD Explorer platform, would have been better with a useable 4x4 system. Claimed to do low 14's....pretty quick for an SUV, don't know the cost tho.

well i think they were the 96-98? body style. So Low 14's is pretty quick for anything back in them days.

Too bad his stuff costs so much, maybe they would be able to build more of it. Much better off getting a Lightning, hell, even the old 351 GT40 head trucks.

so you can drive it across the farm field to make it to paneras faster?

BTW, flick, I was the one showin you the Saleen Exploder. and They are not supercharged from Saleen. They are NA 5.0's. Minor tune and bolt ons, the Saleen Explorers are mostly appearance. And they are extremely rare. I know a guy that owns one.
