With a 9.50 cap?

What do you guys think?

I like that, but I would like to see a 10.00 cap instead of the 9.50, then we dont have to mess with all the BS of the 9.99..

Just two more points, and a window net.

I would like to see a 9.0 cap myself.

i think 8.20 and 9.0 are too close. lower jet and you'll have a ton of guys going for the 9.0 that were uncompetitive in the 8.20 class.

i think 9.50 is a good equalizer

2 more points, and a window net, a license and a chassis cert. and all that BS..I just think if it was slower you would get more people and the payout would be more. I just think it would be more fun if you raced more than 10 people.

The thing is some of us would have to put the bottle away and or hit the brakes, o-well, and others could uses it and be right with us..I just looking at trying to get the most people we can and have a good time..

that would make it a bit less expensive for the competitors

I think a 2nd class would be cool !! I agree with juiced about the less expensive part too. Not to mention in most cases less expensive = more competitive.

Here's an idea... along with the cap mentioned have it be a 9inch tire class like they run down south. I think that would be pretty cool actually. What do others think??

HAHA

how about you make it a 9" slick or a 10.5" designation DOT biasply tire like an e.t. street or a QTP?

but yeah, looking back, a 10.0 class would fit the bill, so you aren't dropping into the 9's and that added SFI expense

only thing is, what are the breakout rules? i've never followed it too much, but let's say you left the bottle at 1200psi insted of 1050 and you went 9.99 instead of 10.00? what happens?

And there is some of you that can go that fast w/o a cage and get away with it somehow... And i get kicked out for not having a 5 pt harness for going 10.9 on a test run but i at least had a cage lol!!

I think this class sounds fun, i say go ahead with it, im gonna try it on 9" wide M/T Drag radials this year on the 17's...

9" slicks FTW
i was already planning on going to that tire anyway, they should fit better than the 28x10.5's that i had.

I'd put my car back together for a 10.0 class........

Run em on spec drag radial, like a 275/60/15 and tailpipes out behind the rear tires to quiet them down.......;)

I like that...10.00 ..but the 9 inch tires...how about 28.0x10.5.max..no W's...I just spent a ton of time on trying to fit some 28.0x10.5 under this G-body...

Keep me posted....

Not with a Quick Performance 9 in..I had to shorten one side and cut a axle...Dont take any short cuts ..buy the real deal...Lesson learned...
