Looks to me like some sort of missle, even has a tail behind it

could be a missle but if you look REALLY i mean really close to it thier are black lines that look like plane wings.. but who knows..

looks like an md80... most airlines dont pain wing tips dark like that due to fuel heating issues. but if i recall the colorado sports district (flew charters for most of the colorado teams) had an 80 that was painted with dark wings and a light fuselage a while back.

It has 2 contrails coming from it- 2 engines, so its not a missile and it would be 'slightly' out of the test ranges in AZ, unless if the AF was going to take out the Mormons. Im going to say its a passenger McDonnell Douglas MD-80 from the silhouette.

Just noticed this. If you look at the legend in the lower left corner, you can see that it is over 100' long.

I am no rocket expert, but I think that is a little long...

I remeber searching around on mapquest a few weeks ago and I found an airport with a plane that had just taken off. Judging by the shadow, it was probably 75 feet off the ground.
