So I scored this old 3/4 ton pickup for free, reworked the 4wd
system and will be my new tow vehicle for the car....horn didnt
work.......Russtech to the rescue ;)

3gallons air tank from my Peterbuilt air ride seat in back yard, one
high flow piloted air solenoid, one HUGE new air horn from work.
The tank is filled in seconds from a large air fitting that accepts
my shop air line, the 3 gallon tank can run the horn continusly
for some time...not sure how long as you cant stand it after 30
seconds :o

Ya I know, cold outside but got it done in 35 minutes complete :)
Sucks working on other peoples stuff all week, has to be perfect
and come home to your own projects....no patience!

lmao. sweet deal. Most truck stops sell a set of 3 Train horns for like 100 bucks. you should hook that up to your system. How is the air compressor for the tank ran? is it electric? where'd ya get that pump?

No compressor, just a quick fill valve my air hose couple too.
The 3gallon tank has a gauge, still over 90psi after way tom much
use today so it should be good for a month of normal driving before
filling back up :)

Hook the tank up to the ac compressor outlet and put a breather filter over the inlet. Thats how the off road guys fill their big tires up before getting back on the road.
