^^^^^^^^i agree jer......sorry but the cars look like crap....maybe that wing works, maybe the new body kit works, but not for me...this may be my last year to watch NASCAR if they go this direction....JMO and i do believe i am entitled to my own opinion

well this right here pretty much pushed me over the edge with nascar. What ever happened with good ol racing anyway? It turned in to one big soap opera with way to many rules.

I think its stupid having everyone with basically the same car. Yes there should be certain limitations but where is the fun in it anymore?

I'm not crazy over the look but the cars should be more stable once the teams have them figured out. I think its going to force everyone to be even more technical now. A bunch of the cars that were at the SCCA runoffs this year had very tall & big wings on them and they are very functional. Granted they look like ass, but they work.

I'm not a fan of the wing, i do however kind of like the front splitter.
kindda looks like there playing with the Dodge/Plymouth cheater book from 1969-1970 remember some of the odd Aero stylings they had?

i've also heard that the reason they want to switch to this is to make a car that the teams would race at all the tracks w/ limited changes...instead of having a superspeedway car a shorttrack car etc....tryin to make it easier for low budget teams

The cars have changed dramaticly over the years. The COT is Nascar's way of stepping up and FINNALLY making the cars more stable and technologicly current.

I doesnt really matter.......The same 4 teams will still dominate the sport. And as far as F&F having an effect on NASCAR, or them trying to appeal to that market, is about as retarded of a statement as I have ever heard.

I'm not a fan of the wing, but if it's functional then I cannot really complain.

I personally like the fact that it's based on how good of a driver you are (or how much of an ass you are, which I won't get into), I'm not going to sit and nit-pick over the way the cars look. I have no problem with an update, it was bound to happen some time.

i think the wing looks terrible but the way i see it the corvette has a wing thats functional, it may look ugly but it doesnt take anything away from the fact that its still a corvette. if thats what nascar is gonna do i guess it doesnt matter.
