New rims picked out

[Heat Seeker WS6]

I've been wanting to get different rims for the car now for quite some time and finially settled on something I like and is different. Alot of F-bodies already have the ZR1's polished or chrome and a few are running the black Grandsports. I found some in Gunmetal that are 17x9.5 front & 17x11 rear that should fit the bill- have yet to see an F-body in person that has these. Not going to get the Vette emblem in the center. Will have 275's on Kumho MX's in front and 315's on Kumho V700's out back. Waiting on the LCA relocation brackets and double adj PHR to arrive still.

Thanks, his & mine are the same ride height, tints about the same and with that nasty rear wheel well filled in it will look pretty agressive.

I like the spray can look better than the primer. You could only REALLY pull of the primer if you parked it next to your "Double-wide" in the trailer park :rolf
Not to mention that it's too new for that, too.

See this is where Im torn- I like the primer simply because its vey easy to care for and it stands out from the rest with the 'rat & rugged' look which I really like. The car makes its statement even without proper paint on the front. A part of me doesn't want/need to have the car with immaculate paint on it because I've already been through that with this car and the Daytona (Neuwave -remember it??:headbang ). The T/A was judged in the Concours De'Elegance in 2000 during the BRIC weekend at Elkhart... and I swear I will never clean up a car that extensively ever again.

I look forward to seeing your car again this year. wana race? lol i've heard from my buddy chris with a gazillion celicas that your cars pretty fast. i've seen some fast lt1's and i have a video with one in the video section of racing one and lost cuz of no traction but yea so i'm rambling. i second the primer it was different

I know Chris quite well- He's got more of those damn Celicas than I've left oil spots in the driveway! Seriously though, I think he holds some demented Celica ownership record or something:wow . He's a good guy & I went to high school with his uncle John.
