N*W*S avatars poll!!

Should we ban avatars that are too revealing? Nuditiy is obviously not allowed on the main page but how about bikinis and such?

I find myself at times quickly closing the lid on the laptop because of my own avatar but then again I chose not to turn them off so its my own fault i guess but nobody is going to say anything to me about it.

x2. I don't mind seeing it, but some may notice a woman in a bikini or a chick gettin punched in the tits (:rolf ) and assume I'm looking up porn!!! And besides, I shoudn't have to log into bcm just to turn the avatars off. I use several different computers between home and work so I don't want to have to turn it off everytime I log in.

I mean, personally...I like the avatar's n' such but I've turned them off. But say that you looked at the profile or memberlist and it's HiHO! booby time!

And I kNOW people around my workplace don't have senses of humor about things like that

I would say that if it is a picture that you might find in Maxim, or another type of magazine that does not come in a plastic wrapper, it should be ok.

I will admit that I have noticed there have been a few avatars as of late that have had nudity in them, and that I feel is going a bit to far without some sort of prior warning about N*W*S appropriateness.

I think as long as it's not nudity, it's no big deal. If you're working and don't want others to make assumptions by seeing bikinis, then simply turn them off. Problem solved in my opinion.
