Laptop Help!

Cat knocked my laptop off the table, screen is F*cked. Any thoughts? Its less then a month old. ANy help would be appreciated.

Same thing happened with mine, sister was using it with the power adapter attached and dog ran by and took it to the floor with him

Ive been browsing ebay once in awhile.. screen still works, with some nice big black spots on it

Buy a screen on eBay.
If you ain't skurred of small electronics, and have some patience, screens are not too bad.
On another note, that's what you get for having a cat.

My dog weighs 95 lbs. and has never broken any of my 4 laptops.

If its less than a month old it should be easily covered by the manufactures warranty. I dropped my laptop that I bought at best buy and they replaced it for free, they didn't even care that it was my own fault. worth a try.

If that were the case, accidental damage insurance would be free, not $250/year or so.
'No Questions Asked' warranties are rare and costly.

my extended warranty for my laptop was $79.99 for a 3 year warranty. It covers everything, I could drop it to the bottom of Lake Michigan and they would replace it so long as I had all the parts.

I just got a new laptop last week and got the 4 year covers everything plan. When it's time to upgrade, I just break it and take it back. They give me a giftcard for the orig price I paid plus the cost of the warranty.

Circuit City Advantage Protection Plan Plus about half way down the page. cost me $350, but like I said they give you a gift card for the price of the comp plus the protection plan you got. I look at it as getting all my $ back when I decide I want to upgrade. They also include 100% online and phone customer service for the 4 years.
