How'd you find BCM?

I just find it interesting to see how people find certain websites, exspecially forums, i know this is kindda late to start this cause some of you have been hear a while but it still might be cool.

I Heard about BCM when i was with my Friend up on 100. There was a guy in i think it was a Dark Green 4eyed Fox body. that said hey you ever go on Brewcitymuscle? i said no, he said that they are talking about that car on there (Red MKIV Supra) so i said oh, alright....well i'll check it out, well i checked it out made a name said a few stupid things, then stopped coming on here, then i made a new name a few months later, and i just kindda stuck around.....


So how'd you find this place?

WAAAAAAAYYYYYY back in the day, for the hell of it, there was a company that offered free message boards. "EZBOARD.com" or something like that. So for fun, and because I was always on all the other camaro boards, i made up one for the "h w y 1oo" scene. Had a majority of the MFBA on that board that lived in WI because we hated the MFBA board for a couple things that had happened I guess. Well then things got worse and we used my board more and more. BUT, since it was free, there was pop-ups galore. You could pay to get rid of them, but then that put it at a disadvantage since it wasn't as good of a system. Andy, Brandon, and Yoosof got together to put this site together. SO I canceled my stuff and we just migrated over here. It's gone from a 95% F-body site to what it is today, just a huge group of friends.

I found some crazy middle-eastern guy trying to change his battery in the parking lot of BW-3's (back when it was still called that) and I think the "avenger33" was helping him. They looked like they were struggling with not having the right tool for the job, so I just went to the old ramcharger that actually needed a road kit, and got them the correct 3/8th extension that they needed.

Of course, that was Yoos, and he had me post up...and gave me free wings to boot.

Damm I forgot how many different places we used host the shows, we did them for several years too. Thankfully Solid Gold's gave us a big boost...so many people were pissed about getting sh!t on there that they migrated over, not to mention the late nights at Kmart. I still lurk on MFBA but they rubbed a bunch of us wrong bigtime and dicked brandon over pretty bad too. So much for the cliques huh?!! At one point the wi chapter had as much traffic as the chicago board did yet they always whined about us posting all over the board not just locally(even though it was all local events).

Seems like it was a LONG time ago. And yea, we all were very active on the MFBA board, that's how I met John, Chris, Yoo, Dave and Dan K. Those were good times back then. When we used to have the "Mustang Versus F-Body" shootouts at GLD. That was over 7 years ago, hard to believe...!

I moved the family to West Allis, in '05 but ran into Wayne at Culver's last March after I finally got my Charger back on the street. He told me about the site and I started visiting on a regular basis. Met some other really cool people from the site over the summer too. (BTW...
