Hey guy's.

I doubt many of you remember this but a few years ago in the Magizine "IMPORT RACER" there was a small article about someone in Wisconsin doing a RB25DET or a RB26DETT (Skyline motor) into a Mazda RX-7 (FD)

This was in the Same issue that "LIL EVO" was in.
i know i have the magizine somewhere i'll try to get it up on the here some how.

But since then i haven't heard about it. i heard little snippits of it from a few people on HWY. 100 but nothing major. then tonight somehow i happen to stumble upon this picture on supra forums.

So i geuss it does "exist" anyone know anything about this car?
i tried to search on the URL teh picture was linked to but it came up as a jewelery store :confused

So any info/pictures of this car? i'm interested on what ever happened to this car.

I'd love to see some more pics/ info on this as well. There have been quite a few inline 6 swaps that people have started over the years, but very few became a finished product. The height and length of these motors, tight fd engine bay make these swaps a pita!

thats karl Lindgren's car. He used to have an s14 with rb26 that met an unfortunate fate. Im pretty sure he used the same motor in the rx7. he was doing a writeup for turbo or some other magazine on this build. i forget which one he told me....

I also remember he was making his own widebody kit for it. Some really cool work.

Ive known about this car for awhile its cool to see that its almost done or done. His 240/s14 was amazing to bad it was totalled right after it was done.

Yea, he has a crazy setup... We did some work for him a while back, I think he lives in the Green Bay area. That will be one sick car when its 100% done!

I remember that...wasn't it totalled on the way back from Hot Import Nights around 2004-2005? I believe he was using a U-Haul trailer, and he went off the road, wrecking the car/trailer. That was a sad, sad thing; it was a very clean setup.

I <3 fd's. My favorite jap sports car of all times except for the 2000gt but those don't really count.
