When I was that age I had to be home at 10 o clock. That was the time that the parents went to sleep, If I was at my friends Jakes house I usally got to stay out till 11 because I was only a 1/2 block away from home and my friends parents and mine were pretty close as well On a non school night. School nights I had to be home at 9 and the only way I got to be out that late was if I had my school work done

At 15 I had about a 10pm curfew on weekdays and about 11pm on weekends. That was pushing it if I remember correctly. Just a warning though, I agree with some guys by being stricter because she's a girl but remember to not be too strict otherwise she will start to rebel by sneaking out, lieing, etc. Don't let her think you're treating her like a 2 year old either because that's the worse thing to do

depends, at 15 it was 11pmish, but i worked weekends till 12am or later, so it was lax. when i got my driver's lisence, the Truck had a curfew of midnight, which was negotiable. i was granted freedom curfew wise, and thank god never blew it. i usually stuck to 1am though. my parents were extremely trusting in that respect, and to be honest, i never did anyhting (that they knew about) to change it otherwise. they tested me, i passed.

It depends on a few things; how responsible she is, how much you trust her, how well you know the people she hangs out with, etc.

Thats exactly what I would say, I shit you not.

When I was 15, it was 9 I am almost positive. Once I started driving, it was 10 till I was almost 17 then it was 11. The car had to be home by 10 though, weekends it was midnight if I was lucky. I owned the car, but they let me park it in the driveway so I thought it was fair to set the curfew on the car until I had more experience. I thought it was fair at the time

My parents were serious about it too.

when I was 16, I worked to 10:30-11pm. If she wants to stay out that late on a weekday, tell her to get a job so she has a reason to be out that late.

or just prepare to be a grandpa..

Seriously it's a matter of trust, I think you have to know how much you can trust her. But it only takes one night to fvck up your life.

I agree. I'm going to go nuts if I ever have a daughter.

I remember being 16 and constantly chasing girls with my rod in my hand just hoping they would give me a chance to let me bury it. I can't imagine things have changed. Relentless on getting some. sooner or later the girls give in.

I usually never come home at night on the weekends and school nights I'm never out so I really don't have any times that I have to be in bed by

had to be in by 10 unless i had hockey practice/games or work. pretty lenient as long as i didnt get in any trouble..

My parents never really told me what time to be home. They let me do whatever I wanted as long as I stayed out of trouble and they had some idea where I was.

Once I hit the teenager years I really can't recall too much of a curfew. I pretty much knew when to be home otherwise my dad would bust me out.

Back when I was just a little Al, there was no home-time for me. Then again, they never worried about me. I usually worked till 9-930 and was home 15 minutes later.

Bed time? You know your kid will get bullied for those two words!

You might be better off saying "within reason" and seeing if your kids can take care of their selves. Make suggestions after that to point them in the right direction. If the next moring if tough for them, it is their own fault: lesson learned.

Usually, I was up till my homework was done. After that, I was such an insomniac that I would normally be awake till 2 or 3 every night.

Hrmmm I don't think I had a curfew... But my dad just wanted to know where I was and when I'd be back... Then again I didn't do much til I was 16 and had a car... And at that point if I did something wrong and got arrested he said to call my mom and see if she'd come get me... :rolf :rolf I never had to use that option though... I was a good kid...

For Kristie... She didn't have one either... But her parents wanted to know where she was and when she'd be back... And if she was staying somewhere...

I guess we both have really lax parents...

Til the day I was 18, it was 9:00 on school nights. I think it was 11:00 on weekends with the occasional pass til midnight if I was at a friends who lived far away. But that was before the days of everyone having cell phones and parents having instant access to their kids.

I was the oldest though. They pulled he reins back when my brother got in high school and he ended up getting in all sorts of trouble. Then my little sister suffered once again...

the more restrictions you put on her, the more she's gonna go out of her way to break them.
No boys calling? Yea that'll happen.
:rolf I'm sure she's done things you don't want to know about a long time ago.
Anyway, just come to some middle ground that you both can agree on.
Don't just lay down the law and expect her not to bargain.
