Anyone play in a coed league around here? A group of friends and I are looking to get into a laid back bar league this season, aka not very competitive. I know the sign-up time for alot of leagues is rapidly approaching. If anyone is in one or knows of a fun one around town, post up.

Thanks!

Those tend to be more competitive. I would like to do a bar league or I hear even some church groups have leagues. I'm in enough competitive leagues as it is and I have no idea what kind of players we will have assembled. I don't want anyone getting hurt or quitting cuz we get our teeth kicked in every week.

Not to change the subject but I've also wanted to get into a volleyball league. The way I look at it is if you're :alcoholic and fall down its just sand beneath you.....

BUT.....I would definitely be in for a softball league, just as long as it's not too far of a drive and it must not be too competitive.....

:banana

Coach House Bar and Grill out in Big Ben has one on Friday night. League is pretty big. early game is at 6 and late game is 11 or 12. Lot of teams play there.

I would possibly be interested in playing softball. with people on the board want to get a team together.

I dont like getting on teams that are sponsored by Bars because usally you have to go back there after games and spend money there and usally you have to bring in more money then they spend on sponsoring you. Best places are Lawn care places automotive or home improvements.

My Wednesday night team are sponsored by two people right now I dont know if there is more or not but I would imagine having multiple places sponsor you for 100 bucks or something would be easier getting then going some were and asking for a sponsor for 600

New Berlin VFW has openings for its Monday night coed league. The total fee is $450 ($300 sponsor fee paid up front with registration, which is open now, and $150 team fee due the first week). I don't know if anyone has hookups on sponsors. I could probably get a bar to but then we'd have to go there after the games and it didn't sound like people were really too keen on that... plus they have cheap beer right there at the concession stand! As much as I'd like to organize this and chase everyone around for the money, I really don't have that kind of time. If someone else does, and you decide on a coed league, you can count on one guy and one girl (Me & the future Mrs.)

Maybe UnderPSI needs to show some tax deductions and wants to sponsor a team?!? :goof
