I need an ls1 short block, prefer stock. Will buy a stock long block if the price is right. Mileage is not a concern. Bent rods, spun bearings, crank walk is. Let me know what you guys have laying around in the garage.

Sorry Josh, but the LS1 in the 1st gen is gonna be a ***** to hook well enough to do 12's let alone 9's. Good luck anyways though

If I hit mid 10's I'd be happy with that. It should do mid 11's on motor, and any where in the 10's on spray. Either way it's going to be fun.
