Looks good! I just saw a motor build done and immediately after the build it was strapped to a dyno and ripped on after a brief warm up and oil change.

In your opinion, how long would you have him break it in?

Just a week, its merely to flush out all the assembly lube that will mix with the oil... Its now got a 2000 mile rotating assembly in it, so there isnt much "break in" persay. It probably will be safe to see 7K after a 15 min warm up like the motor i just put in my car last summer saw bwahahahah

But this one aint gonna do that till its got some 10W30 Synthetic in it and 7 quarts of it...

I say start a pool...what does the car in next:

a) Dan wrecks it doing donuts in his apt parking lot
b) Dan breaks some driveline component while showing off a burnout...in his apt parking lot
c) Dan Spins another rod bearing (much less likely this time)
d) Dan runs into some girl trouble again, resulting in him having to sell the car off to pay bills.

Bastid. So whats the shelf life on Dan + Oil jokes??? Theres alot more to that story that I never posted, as I didn't want to get boned anymore by GM than I did. Someone needs to goof up on something soon, so it can pass.
