went to the franklin vet clinic, as recommended by Rick and a few others. We just got back, and Dr. Paddock says the old guy has trachiitis. He said the pup's heart and lungs sound good for his age, but the pup seems to have an infection in the wind pipe. Got some meds for him, he said if it doesnt clear up in two weeks, they may have to do an xray, but otherwise, he's in decent health for his age :headbang what a relief

good news meng! glad to hear pooch will be doing better. my dog getting old really worries me as my kids would be devastated when she passes.

oh yeah, its really tough on kids. Depending on their age, its tough to have to explain life and death and all that....:(
