I am selling my LCD projector. It is HDTV Compatible. It has a little over 1,000 hours on the lamp. Should be good for another 1,000 since I used it in economy mode. I want $800/offer for it. It went for $3,000 new. I have the Time Warner HD package and it looks really good!

Here are the details and specs (http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sanyo-PLC-XU50.htm)

^ You can get these dirt cheap and brand new on www.woot.com

Just gotta watch for them, it has a new item every day at Midnight. I have seen 3 or 4 projectors sold for less then 400

I highly doubt you will find decent projectors for that price...

My brother is a techie and has bought 2 of them, if they were shit he wouldn't be buying them. Just cause you paid 3 grand don't mean its worth half that when you have the internet to search for better prices

I suppose a projector is just a projector right?? Just because people buy things that makes them good? I like your logic. Teachers know all about projectors too! :rolf What's 3 grand divided by 2? More than I was asking. Maybe your brother should teach you some math. I suppose some of the $20,000 projectors that I install aren't any better than those $400 ones you see. :rolf :rolf :rolf :rolf Stick to your pretty lights pork! :thumbsup :banana

Thats exactly what I said. Don't put words in my mouth, I was simply putting the info out there for OTHERS interested. Your shit heap is sold, so whats it matter? :thumbsup Contrast Ratio of 400:1 ? That is CRAP. High lumens plus low contrast ratio is poor quality.

Figured you wouldn't get your panties in a twist over it. Then again, I did pick on you for your 4x4 and you finally have something on me besides my interest in lighting.

Here yah go, the ONLY major difference's is this one is 1000 lumens where yours is 2000 lumens, BUT the contrast ratio on this is 2000:1, WAY better then 400:1 even with the difference in lumens. Not to mention yours is LCD and these are DLP, DLP bulbs are cheaper. They are both HD compatible and this one is 399, BRAND NEW. 1000 lumens is a noticeable difference, but either way if you are using a projector for home use it is more then capable of projecting an image in a dark room. 3000 hours minimum. So yours can throw an image 25 feet away, thats really the only upside as to this one doing the same thing with a slightly better picture from only 12-15 feet away if my understanding is correct.

Here's another, 299 plus 5 for shipping. Didn't want to take the time to search for lumens, probably compareable to that ^ one maybe a bit less, since its only using 200 watts. This one comes with sound and a dvd player, although I doubt the sound is that great even with the sub woofer. Still its BRAND NEW, 2000-3000 hours easy.

Edit again: BAM! Same lumens, better brand:

And this is NEW, for 639 bucks. And this one is LCD

And one more, better yet:

I'm bored, so I spent another 30 seconds searching

Oh one comes with a subwoofer!! That makes it a good buy... :goof Do they make LED kits for LCD projectors? I want it to look pretty. How about Air lifts? I want to be able to slam it at the flick of a switch.
