Everyone SUCKS ASS!!! no one showed but me, andy and jer. I can't really give Jer props for showin, cuz I picked him up and he rode with me. But Andy showed. I wish even just one more vehicle would have showed. But anyway, andy and I raced 4 times.

Im packin an 06 4x4 with a 5.3 chevy, If I had to guess, id say andys f-one fiddy is an 02 or an 03, probably a 4.6 4x4.

First three races were in 4 wheel high range, and I took him every time. The 3rd race was a lil closer because I shared my launching techniques, and the last race was in 4 wheel low range, which was interesting. Andy's stuff was revvin like a honda, I couldn't believe it. But Chevy FTW. Wish others would have showed up. PU$$IES!!! Conditions were decent for racin, so what gives?

It is a 5.4.

I think with more seat time it would be about dead nuts. First time having the truck in 4 wheel drive. All the racing took place on a very icy road. More like the ice drags.

Still fun for a Tuesday night.

Is your truck drive by wire? My mom's 06' F-150 is, and it kinda easies the power on.

I think so. but I could punch it and watch my tach just wind out. I'd ease on it, maybe get it up to 3grand and once I hit around 5-10mph id just lay on her to about 3/4 throttle.

Yeah the 06' f-150 is the same way. You almost have to work to blow the tires off. Damn technology!:rolf

I know. At 10 mph your truck accelerates nice and smooth. Where mine down shifts and shocks the tires.
